
Jenniece Anderson is an artist, art teacher and art dealer. Born in Jamaica, Jenniece currently lives and works in London. A prolific painter, Jenniece is renowned as a colourist and an expressionist but she also experiments with a range of processes and techniques. Her work conveys a narrative of colours, textures, patterns and the rhythms of the Caribbean vibe. She is committed to celebrating and promoting Caribbean art which was the driving force for establishing “Bingy” Art Gallery for which she was the art director.
Jenniece is a graduate of the Edna Manley College for Visual and Performing Arts in Jamaica (BA Applied Arts- Graphic Design). She studied at the University of East London (QTS - Qualified Teacher Status) and achieved a MA in Art Education from the University of Central England in Birmingham, England. She was also awarded Chartered London Teacher Status, for her dedication to teaching Art and Design in London.
Jenniece has taught Art and Design across Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5 in both the state and private sectors. She still teaches art and is currently Head of Art at a private secondary school in London. This alluring artist still finds time to pursue her greatest passion in life--'that of making Art'.
